The day has come!

We shipped the first games NGo and this week we will make a second shipment. We hope you can enjoy and appreciate the effort to achieve the goal. The difficulties were higher than we expected. We are very excited to have succeeded.

(‘Stretch Goals’ not reached), our commitment was to deliver the marks on cardboard, but we did not want to deliver a limited version to our Backer, wanted to offer the best to you, so we made the effort to incorporate the vertical masts.

We have given everything to have the best game that can be done with what you have graciously provided. You will have a truly handcrafted version. We know we can count on you as allies to learn from your experience and collaboration to improve NGo.

As soon as the games are completed, we will continue with rounds of shipments, be patient and thanks to you NGo is a reality.

Progreso de la Producción de tokens.

No fue posible tener un proveedor mayorista, así que debíamos fabricarlas nosotros mismos. Y a pesar de no haber logrado el 'strech goal', deseábamos entregar las tokens más elaboradas, como un extra para nuestros Backers.

Estamos muy contentos por el progreso!. Hemos estado haciendo muchas pruebas  de perfeccionamiento de los detalles de las tokens y nos ha llevado más tiempo del que esperábamos. Pero vamos por buen camino ya que ahora estamos progresando a un buen ritmo.

Lo que más nos retrasó fue:

Progress of Production of tokens.

It was not possible to have a wholesale supplier, so we had to make them by ourselves. And despite not having achieved the 'stretch goal', we wanted to deliver the most elaborate tokens, as an extra for our Backers.

We are very pleased with the progress !. We've been doing a lot of tests refining the details of the tokens and it has taken us longer than we expected. But we are on track and we are now progressing at a good pace.

The things that delayed us were:

Tiempo de secado:

Luego de seleccionar la resina para la fabricación, no encontramos con un tiempo de secado muy lento que afectaba nuestra producción.

Tuvimos que armar un horno con medidor de tiempo y temperatura para poder acelerar el proceso sin alterar las propiedades de las tokens hasta llegar a 4hs x sección.

Drying time:

After selecting the resin to manufacture, we found a very slow drying time affecting our production.

We had to build an oven with a timer and temperature to speed up the process without altering the properties of the tokens up to 4 hrs per section.

Eliminación de burbujas:

Las burbujas fueron todo un problema por no contar con una maquina de inyección, por lo que debimos desarrollar una maquina de rotomoldeo con este fin, que combinada con una centrifugadora, logramos obtener tokens plásticas de muy buena calidad.

Debubbling:

The bubbles were a big problem for not having an injection molding machine, so we had to develop a rotational molding machine for this purpose, which combined with a centrifuge, we get plastic tokens of good quality.

Coloración:

El color también nos trajo algunos dolores de cabeza, ya que mínimos cambios en las proporciones de las tinturas generaban cambios indeseados. Pero, finalmente, hemos sido capaces de controlar las proporciones y obtener con precisión los colores deseados.

Coloration:

The color also brought us some headaches, since small changes in the proportions of dyes generate unwanted changes.

But finally we were able to control the proportions and accurately obtain the desired colors.

Retraso

Eso definitivamente ha retrasado las entregas y le pedimos disculpas por esto, hemos trabajado duro para evitar que esto suceda, vamos por buen camino; las tokens eran nuestro mayor reto. Ahora podemos continuar con la producción.

Esperamos que no existan nuevos retrasos. Estimamos poder enviar nGo!!, para mediados de diciembre.

Delay

That has definitely delayed deliveries and we apologize for this, we have worked hard to prevent this from happening, but we are on track; the tokens were our biggest challenge. Now we can continue with production.

We hope there are no further delays. We expect to post nGo!!, by mid-December.

Queremos notificar que seguimos avanzando con algunos retrasos, pero tenemos expectativas de comenzar el envío de los primeros juegos a la brevedad.

Hemos terminado el 100% de los tableros y, como se ve en la foto, empaquetamos fichas y, por último, estamos armando los mazos de cartas que quedaron fantásticos.

Deseamos optimizar los tiempos lo máximo posible para que en poco tiempo puedan estar disfrutando de NGo BoardGame.

2. Cards.

As the original cards were in Spanish, we have taken the time to ensure we have produced the best English translation possible. We have now completed the translation of the card deck, and they are currently being printed and cut.

3. Pieces.

This is what is taking us longer. We are working on making molds for the pieces and have built a rotational molding machine for the production of 15,000 pieces.
